Production

Each SALVÁREA piece is slowly handmade with artisanal processes, which is why the production of the pieces can take between 2 and 7 business days when they are not in stock. When you acquire one of our Salvárea pieces we will make it especially with you in mind. 

 

We firmly believe that it is not necessary to continue extracting raw materials from our planet, but that we must reuse and recycle those that we already have to reduce our footprint on natural ecosystems. That is why we only use certified 950 Sterling Silver recovered from X-rays and medical waste. This process is carried out with different substances that generate a lower environmental impact than that produced by mining. Shipping

Our pieces are produced on request, especially for you. The production time of each Jewel is from 2 to 7 business days depending on the difficulty and the availability of materials. We keep a limited stock of favorite pieces, you can find them available in our Shop section.

 

Shipping time depends on the carrier. For shipments within Bogotá, it usually takes 1 to 2 business days, main cities 2 to 5 business days, and for distant populations between 5 and 7 business days.

 

International orders are shipped via DHL or UPS and should arrive within 6-8 business days. Shipping costs are asumed by the buyer. Once you receive the package, the courier may ask you to pay a separate invoice to the local authorities in your country for the duties charged.

We will deliver the products to the address you provide us. Once an item is shipped, we are no longer responsible. We do not refund packages lost in transit. We cannot refund or replace stolen packages or any unrecovered packages that have been confirmed as delivered.

 

All products that are in the shopping cart are not reserved and are subject to availability, that is, they can be purchased by customers who first place their order, by confirming payment.

 

Salvárea may, in its sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or order.

In addition, Salvárea reserves the right to reject any order, duly informing the buyer.

 

JEWELRY CARE

Over time, a natural process of wear and tear of your parts can occur. However, these can accompany you for many years if you take care of them correctly. For this reason, avoid using them while you are in contact with liquids or corrosive chemicals, as this can accelerate the natural process of wear and tear on your jewel or even damage it. Likewise, protect them from forceful blows that could compromise their structure.

 

The silver and bronze that we use in our parts can oxidize as part of their life cycle. In this situation you can clean it with a clean cloth and sodium bicarbonate, or request a deep maintenance service through our email salvareajoyeria@gmail.com

For glass pieces: keep in mind that glass is a delicate material, thus it must be taken care of properly. To avoid damaging the glass parts of your jewel, avoid wearing them when doing forceful activities or any activity that demands you to use force on your hands like moving furniture, playing any sport, etc. Avoid dropping your jewels as the impact on the floor may cause them to break. If you have a damaged glass jewel from us and wish to repair or replace it, please contact us.

 

The non-metallic parts of your piece are made one by one so their differences make them unique and should not be considered as defects.

 

CHANGES AND WARRANTIES

Our jewels are slowly handmade for you and as such all sales are considered final. 

Exchanges

If for any reason you wish to exchange a Salvárea piece, keep in mind that it can only be exchanged for a piece of equal or greater value available in stock.

To make the exchange you must notify us in writing to salvareajoyeria@gmail.com within a period of 30 days after the purchase is made. Once the term has expired, exchange requests will not be accepted. Remember that your piece must be returned unused and in the original packaging, along with a purchase or gift support. We do not assume the possible shipping costs that the change may generate.

Guarantee

The quality of each Salvárea piece is analyzed before being sent. However, all parts are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. Please note that the unique characteristics of the non-metallic parts of your piece(s) are not considered defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or improper care of the jewels. Depending on the case, we will decide if it is pertinent to fix the piece or deliver a new one.

If you have received a damaged, faulty or incorrect item, please email us at salvareajoyeria@gmail.com including:

- Your order number, receipt, and/or proof of purchase.

- Name on the order.

- Email address in the order.

- Your request or explanation.

- A photograph showing the damaged area of the item.

The best images are on a flat surface, with the label and error visible. We will use this information to assist you with your change.

 

Once your guarantee is authorized and the product is received, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your item. After it’s inspected, we will notify you if we will send you a new piece or repair the one you send us, depending on the case and the damage.

 

Important notes:

We do not cover shipping and handling charges for exchanges. In cases where a product is deemed defective, we will bear the full cost of return and/or exchange shipping.
